Foam Free Flower Filled Heart
Losing a loved-one under any circumstances is incredibly hard. As a Floral Designer would work with you to create a bespoke Farewell Flower Filled Heart to rest gently on your loved ones casket, or be given in loving memory as an addition to the service.
The Farewell Flower Filled Heart is created using stunning flowers and seasonal foliage. Arranged with care to reflect your chosen colour palette and individuality of your loved one, providing a personal and heartfelt farewell.
The Farewell Flower Filled Heart uses sustainably sourced, farm fresh and homegrown flowers, all inspired by the beauty of cottage gardens and country lanes to offer a softer, and more organic alternative to traditional funeral arrangements. It is also suitable for natural burial sites where there is a requirement of bio-gradeable materials.
The base is made from Floral Fibre, a natural product based on volcanic basalt rock with a bio-based binder that is derived from rapidly renewable materials and a recyclable and compostable card base. The base will be adapted for natural sites using palm leaf, cardboard and moss secured with twine.
When to choose a Farewell Flower Filled Heart:
* As the central floral tribute for the casket during the service.
* As an additional floral tribute for the service.
* To create a design that reflects your loved one's personality or interests.
* For natural burials, or as an eco-friendly option.

This Flower Filled Heart is, approx 43cm in length and 45cm wide.
I will work with you and adjust the colour pallete to suit and reflect something meaningful. For example, incorporating regiment colours, adding dried flowers, or simply creating an arrangement in a favourite colour using what's in season and at it's best. Be assured whatever you decide the Flower Filled Heart will be full of colour, texture, movement and truly fragrant stems.

Keeping in line with my sustainability ethos, all flowers are perishable, and any additional materials are also compostable.
Please ensure you allow 7 working days prior to the Funeral date to order. This allows for pre-planning of harvesting the flowers. They are cut 24 hours before the funeral. Once cut, flowers are conditioned naturally, in a cool environment and duly arranged.
If you would like any cards to be handwritten on your behalf, or specific colour pallete, please write the details on the notes section. That said, I would prefer to chat before you place an order to get a feel of your requirements.

Care Instructions
The Farewell Flower Filled Heart will have been conditioned prior to delivery to ensure it is in the highest quality.
If you plan to take the Flower Filled Heart home after the service please keep hydrated and spritz with water daily.
Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, the Farewell Flower Filled Heart will be delivered directly to the Funeral Directors. I also ensure the arrangement is carefully placed on the casket and travel safely to the service if this is required. This guarantees the Flower Filled Heart remains a focal point throughout the journey and the ceremony itself.
Delivery to the chosen Funeral Director is within 10 miles of the SN2 7HZ postal code.
Sustainability
At Pots and Petals we source from local flower farms who grow without the use of pesticides. We operate a low waste policy and our flowers are never wrapped or displayed in plastic or floral foam. By buying British flowers over imported flowers you are chosing to significantly reduce your carbon footprint.
